It should be shown under Investment (Short Term)
Temporary Investment means Investment for short duration which can be converted into cash & cash equivalantes very easily. So as per yur assumption u can consider it cash ur cash equivalents aur Short term investment.

Temporary investment is just like current assets which is for a short duration. It can be converted into cash fast.
