WHAT IS THE PROCESS TO CLAIM REFUND IF TDS IS NOT CLAIMED IN THE RETURN & THE TIME FOR REVISED RETURN HAS ALREADY EXPIRED.

if the tds is shown under your 26AS, the same shall be considered by the income tax department if the same has not been claimed by you in any subsequent year.

Prior to 2008-09, the jurisdiction is still with the concerned ITO. Do follow up the matter with him, with a copy of the return filed.

If 143(1) intimation received without refund file rectification u/s 154 seeking refund citing availability of 26AS credit.
