sir, 1. if we paid freight inward cash bases in oct-09 than can we paid service tax on this freight. 2. we have received som transport bill from transporter before 01.10.09 dated or some after 01.10.09 but transaction done before 01.10.09 in this condition how treat tds or service tax.?

Is it necessary to prepare consolidated books of account of a company if the become holding company as on 31st march or one or two month before and ceases to become holding in next year. what will be consequences/ penal provision if the company is not prepare consolidated books for the year.
