Sir, as i know...Interest u/s 234B &/ 234C shall be levied if company has to pay tax under section 115JB. I just to want to confirm that on what amount of tax it is to be calculated...?? wheather it's the tax liability arising under normal provisions of income tax, (i.e. 30% slab)or tax liability arising by virtue of section 115JB..Further, If interest under section 234B & 234C is to be calculated on tax liability as arrived at by applying section 115JB, is it justified on the part of government to charge interest on tax figure which is purely fictional and has come to the knowledge of assesse company only at the year end...pls reply...
