Hi, An Indian company has engaged an advocate at USA for professional work inrespect of its proposed activities. The US attorney/advocate raised the bill for his professional advice/consultancy.Is the Indian company required to deduct withholding tax/tds and pay the net amount? if so why and under which clause of US DTA?
