Can a member in Part Time COP have Proprietor firm registered with ICAI. What are the options available to keep the Firm Name alive, if the member wants to go for full time in Employment e.i. surrenders part time COP also.

IS THERE ANY PROVISION FOR REVISING A RETURN OF SERVICE TAX BEYOND THE STIPULATED TIME OF 90 DAYS? Actually we need to revise a return filed for F.Y.2009-10 to match the Audited Financial numbers. However time limit for filing revised return has lapsed. The concerned officer in the department is not accepting the return with the reason that there is no provision in the Service tax legislation to accept revise return beyond the time limit. So if there is any way out to revise the return beyond the given time range then plz let me know. I'll be thankful.
