Hello Sir, I am working with a small organization (employee strength is 40) in Western subarbs of Mumbai. I had submitted documents for IT exemption however the accountant of the company refuses to accept my rent receipts saying I'll have to produce the Rent agreement as well. I stay in PG and there is no such agreement made. Please suggest what should I do. Thanks and hope to hear from you soon. Chris D'Mello -

Dear Sir, Hi All I bought a residential Flat in the year 2010, and got the possession of the flat on 13th March, 2011.The stamp duty amounting to Rs 4.54 lacs was paid in the month of March 2012 (Not in March 2011).I want to know, whether i am eligible to claim deduction for payment of stamp duty under section 80C for the F.Y 2011-12.
