About me

I am working as Company Secretary and Sr. Manager Accounts in a Public ltd co. in Vadodara. I handle Secretarial, Accounts, MIS and Costing functions for the Company. My qualifications are CS, CWA, MBA (Fin), B.Com and LL.B (Special).

    What kinds of questions I can and can't answer?
    Questions on company laws, direct and indirect taxation, costing, legal matters and matters pertaining to business finance like make or buy decisions etc.

  • Kumar Kishhor and Chandra says : TDS U/S 195
    In Most cases, commission is exempt from tds. However, refer to the relevant DTAA for confirmation. However, I reiterate, commission is normally exempt from tax. Sir, w.r.t above Question is that Whether Remitance of Amount (Net of commission) would be covered under TDS net u/s 195 or not? if Yes then on which amount?
