Chitta

Chitta is a land revenue document maintained by the Village Administrative Officer (VAO) and the Taluk office which consists details of ownership & land details.

Step 3: Select the District, Taluk & Village from the drop-down menu. Select the 'Urban' or 'Rural' option in the 'Area Type'. Enter Survey Number &Sub Division Number as directed on screen. Click on the 'Submit' button.

Step 4:Once it will be submitted the details will be shown for selected Area & Survey in which you can see the classification of the land under two category i.e. Dry land & Wet Land (You can see the same in below Pic)

How to get Adangal register (A register)

To get the details of particular land one can follow below steps

Step: 1 Go to website of Patta Chitta & Select "View A Register Extract"

Step: 2 Select the District, Taluk & Village from the drop-down menu. Select the 'Urban' or 'Rural' option in the 'Area Type'. Enter Survey Number & Sub Division Number as directed on screen. Click on the 'Submit' button.

Step: 3 On Submission you will get the Adangal register in which you will see the essential details of selected Survey number like below

What is the difference between Patta & TSLR (Town Survey Land Register)

TSLR stands for Town Survey Land Register & it is document like Patta & issued from the Tehsildar Office for Gram Natham Land

Basically, A Patta is a legal document that contains all the land and its owner's details. Both of these documents are issued by the government only and can be used as legal documents to claim land ownership However, TSLR is issued for land that is under the Panchayat government whereas the Patta is issued for land that is under the municipal government.
