In a recent announcement on 27th March, 2020, ICAI has announced Postponement of chartered accountant examinations, May 2020 due on ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of the well-being of students.
The Chartered Accountant Examinations initially scheduled from 2nd May 2020 to 18th May 2020 stand rescheduled and the said examinations shall now be held from 19th June 2020 to 4th July, 2020 as per details given below.

Also note that as per announcement dated 20-03-2020, ICAI has granted one time relaxation to such students who are not able to complete MCS Course and Adv. IT Training before appearing in May, 2020 Final Examination be allowed o appear in May, 2020 Final Examination on the condition that such students shall complete the aforestated training along with passing of AICITSS (Adv. IT exam) conducted by the Examination Department before the declaration of May, 2020 Final Examination result which can be around last week of August, 2020.
Further, In an announcement dated 20-03-2020, ICAI has granted one-time relaxation to the those students who were to take admission in Practical Training on or before 30th April, 2020 but are not able to admit in Practical Training due to non-completion of Orientation Course and/or IT Training, shall be allowed to take admission in Practical Training on or before 30th April, 2020 on condition that such students complete the respective Orientation Course and IT Training on or before 31st August, 2020. Students who fail to do so shall not be eligible to sit in Final Examination to be held in November, 2022. Students are expected to take utmost care of this provision and complete the respective trainings well in time to avoid shifting of CA Final attempt.
Also, Students are advised not to go out in public and stay at home and help the country to fight this pandemic. Stay home, study hard.
