In this editorial author shall discuss the FAQ's in relation to DIR-3 KYC filing of MCA V-3 Portal. As w.e.f. 31st August, 2022 DIR-3 KYC/ Web form has been shifted from V2 portal to V3 portal.
Here we will discuss the questions received from the professional in relation to DIR-3 KYC on V-3 Portal.
I. To file DIR 3 KYC on V-3 Portal, is it mandatory to create separate Login Id of each DIN Holder? (DG)
i. Professional ID:Professional can file DIR-3KYC for n.. No. of Directors from his V3 Business User ID. DG
ii. Director ID:If professional Login is not available then, its required to create Login ID of each Director respectively as Register user/ Business User to file DIR 3 KYC. DG
II. If any DIN Holder has already filed DIR-3KYC non-Web/Web based in V2 portal in 2022, whether such person required to file their KYC again for the in V3 portal in 2022
If a DIN Holder already filed their DIR-3 KYC in 2022 in V2 portal then, there is no need to file it again in V3 portal in 2022.
III. On V3 portal, how to check that DIR-3 KYC of Director has been filed or not? (DG)
You have to follow the following step to check the same: (DG)
- Login to MCA V-3
- Click of My Application, Company e-filing, Din Related Filing
- Click on DIR-3 KYC Web
- Mention DIN and Click on send OTP (DG)
- Mention the OTP received on Mobile No. & Email ID of DIN Holder
- After mention OTP proceed on next slide
- Then, it will show the status of KYC (DG)
IV. Whether challan will be generated for dir-3 KYC Web verification?
Yes, MCA shall generate challan after filing of any type of DIR-3 KYC.
V. If a person having DIN, but not holding directorship in any company, does he require to do DIR 3 KYC?
Holding of directorship is not a criterion for filing of DIR-3 KYC. Every DIN holder have to file DIR-3 KYC with MCA.
VI. Where to find DIR KYC option on the new V3 portal?
Follow the below mentioned Steps
- Login to MCA V-3
- Click of My Application,
- Click on Company e-filing
- Click on Din Related Filing
- Click on DIR-3 KYC Web
VII. How many DIR-3 KYC can be file through "Company Log In" on MCA V-3?
Through Company Login, KYC of all the directors of the Company can be file with MCA.
