Ram & Shyam were very happy today as the CA Final Result was out & both had the cleared their examination on the same day.

They were indeed good friends and they had prepared together right from CPT to Final.

Ram got 70% & Shyam 65%. Despite that, they were happy for each other.

After years of  education, they were both ready to plunge into the practical life and started preparing their CVs which they could present to their prospective employers during campus programmes and other such platforms.

Luckily, their joy had no bounds when they got to know that they were selected by same company, although for different positions.

But, there was a surprise element. Do you know, what?

Shyam was offered a package of Rs. 15 Lakhs, while Ram was offered a package of Rs. 6 Lakhs. Even their family members were surprised to know that.

It so happened that while Ram had received more marks than Shyam, Shyam had strong soft skills in his kitty. Shyam mentioned that he had great leadership skills and he could express his ideas to people in a very expressive way. Further, he had excellent presentation skills.

In the corporate life, marks have  relevance, but your presentation skills are also equally relevant. Because, good presenters can lead people and they become substitute for owners. And, when the owner feels that his work can be handled by someone, he is definitely going to offer more to him.

So, fill your CV, not only with marks, but also with experience & presentation skills.
