In February 2022, key GST deadlines include GSTR-7 and GSTR-8 on the 10th, GSTR-1 on the 11th, GSTR-1 (IFF) and GSTR-6 on the 13th, GSTR-5 & 5A and GSTR-3B on the 20th, and GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C on the 28th.

The due date for filing the Return of Income for Assessment Year 2021-22, for assessees required to file a report under section 92E, has been extended to February 28, 2022.

Important dates include Challan ITNS-281 for TDS/TCS payment on the 7th, TDS Certificates for December 2021 on the 14th, Form 24G and Quarterly TDS Certificates on the 15th, PF and ESI payments for January 2022 on the 15th, and PF Return filing on the 25th.

Companies need to file Form AOC 4 by February 15, 2022, and Form MGT 7/7A by February 28, 2022, for the financial year 2020-21.

February 2022 is significant due to numerous compliance deadlines under the Goods and Service Act, Income Tax Act, Companies Act, and LLP Act. Filing on time helps taxpayers avoid hefty penalties.
