This review covers the Union Government of India's accounts up to the month of July 2021 for the fiscal year 2021-22.
The total receipts for the Government of India up to July 2021 were Rs. 6,83,297 crore.
Total receipts include Rs. 5,29,189 crore in Tax Revenue (Net to Centre), Rs. 1,39,960 crore in Non-Tax Revenue, and Rs. 14,148 crore in Non-Debt Capital Receipts.
The total expenditure incurred by the Government of India up to July 2021 was Rs. 10,04,440 crore.
Out of the total revenue expenditure, Rs. 2,25,817 crore was for Interest Payments and Rs. 1,20,069 crore was for Major Subsidies.
Rs. 1,65,064 crore was transferred to State Governments as their share of taxes by the Government of India up to July 2021.
