The Ministry of MSME has launched special initiatives to encourage more businesses to register under the Udyam system. Since its launch on 1st July 2020, the new online portal has seen over 11 lakh MSMEs successfully register. The system is designed to be seamless and is integrated with tax and government procurement networks, making the registration process paperless. The Ministry is urging its field offices, District Magistrates, and District Industries Centers to provide full support to entrepreneurs in completing their registrations.
