ICAI announced Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia (IPAR) and the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors (PIBR). These aim to foster mutual cooperation in professional accountancy training, ethics, research, and development.
ICAI inaugurated new Representative Offices in Sweden (Stockholm) and Denmark (Copenhagen), increasing its presence to 11 European cities with 4 Chapters and 7 Representative Offices. Globally, ICAI now has a presence in 73 cities across 47 countries.
CA. Prafulla P. Chhajed was elected Deputy President of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA). ICAI Convocation ceremonies for members enrolled between November 2019 and August 2021, and for CA Final Examination rank holders (July 2021), are being held in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Indore, Jaipur, and New Delhi during December 2021 and January 2022.
