The Direct Taxes Committee, GST & Indirect Taxes Committee, and Committee on International Taxation are seeking suggestions related to direct taxes (including international taxation) and indirect taxes. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is inviting suggestions.
The memorandum is intended to identify issues for submission to the Ministry of Finance or respective State Ministry regarding tax laws.
Suggestions are invited for Direct Taxes (including International Taxation) and Indirect Taxes, such as Goods & Services Tax, Customs Law, and Central Excise Law.
Suggestions are sought for widening the tax base, increasing tax revenue, checking tax avoidance, reducing litigations, rationalising provisions, and removing administrative difficulties.
Suggestions must be submitted by 10th October 2022.
