The event aimed to integrate the biodiversity agenda into the corporate sustainability landscape and explore the roles and opportunities for Chartered Accountants in this area.
ICAI organised the event in collaboration with the United Nations Global Compact Network India (UNGCNI).
The event took place in New Delhi on May 24th, 2025.
Key dignitaries included the President of ICAI, the Chairperson of the National Biodiversity Authority, the Deputy Comptroller and Auditor General (Commercial), and a Whole Time Member of SEBI.
Discussions included sectoral perspectives on business and biodiversity, corporate biodiversity strategies, and the role of professionals in reporting and assurance related to biodiversity and Mission LiFE.
The event brought together over 200 participants, including sustainability professionals, industry leaders, policymakers, and Chartered Accountants.
