ICAI Extends CPE Hours Compliance Deadline for 2024 to 28th February 2025

The last date for complying with CPE hours requirements for the Calendar year 2024 has been extended to 28th February 2025.

Yes, the last date for compliance and filing of Unstructured Learning Activities (ULA) for the Calendar year 2024 has also been extended to 28th February 2025.

The consequential provisions for non-compliance with CPE hours requirements are applicable from 1st January 2025, for non-compliance arising from the Calendar Year 2024.

CPE hours earned up to 28th February 2025 will be counted for the calendar year 2024 for members who have a shortfall. For members who have already complied with 2024 requirements by 31st December 2024, hours earned in the extended period (1 Jan-28 Feb 2025) will be credited to the calendar year 2025.

Yes, for the Calendar year 2024, the duration of consequential provisions at Level I will change from January 1st to June 30th to March 1st to June 30th. Subsequent levels remain unchanged.
