ICAI is announcing the empanelment of members to act as Observers at the examination centres for the May 2022 Chartered Accountants Examinations.
The exams are scheduled from 14th May to 30th May 2022, covering Foundation, Intermediate, Final, and PQC exams.
Members should not be more than 65 years of age as on 4th March 2022.
Key criteria include being under 65 years of age, being a member of the Register of Members since November 1, 2019, not having relatives appearing in the exams, not coaching students for ICAI exams, not having pending disciplinary proceedings, and not being associated with the Institute as an elected/co-opted member.
Yes, members who are coaching students for any examinations or tests conducted by the Council of the Institute, including in institutions or private coaching, are not eligible.
Members who are COVID patients or have symptoms, or will be detected with such conditions on duty dates, must not take up the assignment of Observer's duty.
