oh my god...... really i lost my hope this time,this was my 4th attempt, i expecting in november 2015 ipcc exams unit scheme, i thought surley will get exemption in either of incometax or infotec & strategic mgt. but i got costing 41, Income tax - 58, infotec - 36. pls pls tell me if i apply for verification anything help. I REQUEST YOU PLEASE INFORM ME ATLEAST WILL I GET EXEMPTION IN INCOMETAX?. Read more at: /news/display_comments.asp?news_item_id=15317

A friend of mine had 32 in cost and 59 in tax in nov 13.
He applied for certified copies of tax hoping to get that 1 mark for exemption but when I also viewed his copy I couldn't spot any discrepancy.
Sorry to disappoint you but its unlikely that viewing certified copy will give you 2 marks extra in tax.
However, do apply for certified copies of itsm to understand where you lost marks this time so that you can learn from past mistakes.

Hi Shilpa, first of all be brave.. i can understand how it feels.. as i am also a pcc student earlier converted to IPCC and struggling the same phase with exemption in IT and SM and lost it.. but one thing one of my friend got exemption when he applied for reverification he got 59 after reverification he got 61.. So i gues..100rs is not at all a matter these days.. so suggest u to pay the money for verification and hope that u will be getting exemption in Income tax. All the best..

No one can give a definitive answer, whether your score would increase or not. Though Institute has put in systems to have checkers who are CA's appointed to do the totalling, chances are very rare, still due to human error, anything could have happened.

Apply for re-verification and forget it, because the more you keep thinking about it every now and then will prove costly for your May 2016 preparation. If you get positive results enjoy it, you will be relieved as your burden would have got eased a little bit. At the mean time you still have other papers to focus and complete it successfully, so remain calm and give your best.

Hi shilpa I got twice 59 marks in my advanced accounting subject in group 2 bt failed on ther other end end in both of my attempts and just aftr my 2nd failure called for certified copies and that helped me alotzzz and tday i am a failed final student on the other side of coin , one of my best frnd failed by just 7 marks in IT SM nd filled for revaluation nd by miracle or what he was graced by 8 marks nd got passed in 2 grp aftr this choice is all urs

Is that reverification cost rs100 per subject and tell me the cost when someone need his certified copy of any subject....and I need to pay online or need to visit to Icai bhawan for this....I m from Delhi...

You should apply for certified copies bcoz u will get to know where are you lacking, it is really worth and next t u will definitely pass, i m saying this bcoz i read many stories of persons who were failing in their attempts but after seeing copies they got to know abt their mistakes and in next attempt they passed exam by overcoming their mistakes :)

Cost of certified copy is Rs.500 per paper.

Though the pissibilities cannot be denied, do not hope on the re totalling thing. When i had scored 58 in auditing in my ipcc i had applied and got no descripency in marks. You can apply, but never depend on it by not starting to study again. If it happens it is just a bonus. You have got good marks n you ll clear in the coming attempt

Always advisable to put it for verification as u will have to shell out only Rs 100 and against that u can get exemption if there is any error.In numerous cases the marks have got increased and in one of the case heard by me it was 21 marks.The height of error!!!!
