Stamp duty
I have purchased plot for construction of house. I have paid 116820 as stamp duty. Is stamp duty paid by me is tax free & can i claim this under 80 c as tax exemption.

YES U CAN CLAIM AS DEDECTION U/S 80C SUBJECT TO MAX RS 1,50,000/- ONLY
yes u can claim it as deduction u/s 80C
Maximum Rs 150000
but with in one year only from the payment of such expenses.
