I want to apply for fresh passport, my date of birth is 09/05/2014. I m a graduate in Engineering. I have my original birth certificate from municipal corporation Mumbai as proof of birth. 
 
Am i still required to submit a school leaving certificate as proof of birth?

Yep.. you will be asked to submit School leaving certificate.. as its mandatory document as proofe of birth with regard to Passport Issuance...!

But while filling the form, in document advisor (passportseva.gov.in)  it states School leaving certificate or Bith certificate is required.

Not required, Then u may show your original birth certificates .

What is the fuss in showing your Tenth Standard Marks Card, if all your records are correct, why worry?
