i want to purchase a infastructure bond. please told about the centres where the bond are selling.
please tell me about the taxability of bond when its get matured?

Hi,
Infrastructure bonds are issued by different Government undertakings or PSU.
Presently IDFC has come up with "IDFC Long Term Infrastructure Bonds u/s 80 CCF (AAA rating by ICRA)"
Contact any ICICI bank Branch for more details on the bonds.
Can invest online also. FOR hdfc and ICICI i know as details availabe on internet while doing online banking. can make direct purchase also.
Also can buy only if have demat account. and the bonds will be listed on BSE and NSE with lock in period of 5 years and maturity of 10 years.
