Dear Experts,
We have raw materials stored in the C& F agent's godown. As and when the materials are required for production, we intake the materials. This arrangement is because of the storage space constraints. Wanted to know if these godown needs to be excise registered.

unless the materials are received in your factory, you can not take input credit on the same,
Say suppose, If one BOE quantitiy is 1000 Nos. and if you intake only 400 Nos, you cannot take credit unless you intake all the 1000 Nos. Pls consider this while taking cenvat credit.
