If there is trading business having excise registration in Maharashtra, and they are opening another branch at Gujarat, shall they require to take excise registration in Gujarat for trading outside Gujarat from the branch situtated there??

Yes, you can apply the second Excise Registration No. for second unit in Gujrat. You should mention your branch office Maharashtra at the time of applying for regsitration and got the registration.
