I am preparing for audit (CA Final) but i am not able to refer to a particular book as there is lot of confusion. As i am doing self study, can anyone please refer me the best book for audit ?

ACCORDING TO MY VIEW,
Padhuks is complete and detailed book. Surbhi bansal is short. Do Professional Ethics, Company audit, auditors report from padhukas as full knowledge of these topics is needed to solve practical Qs in the exams. for remaining part u can rely on surbhi bansal.

yes, you may find different books/notes for audit, and which one is best may be different for different persons. In my opinion you may opt surbhi bansal, although it is short but it provides a good understanding of topics and you should also refer PRACTICE MANUAL of ICAI it will help you in the manner of writing in examination..I also opted same book for self study and also found that practice manual are very very important from examination perspective..
