Dear All,

I am working as an accountant cum cashier in a proprietorship firm. My boss transfer me some amount on daily basis in my personal account from company's current account as imprest.

It is 60-70k per month on average.

Can i have to pay tax on that amount ?

Thanks

Yes you have to pay tax on interest accured on Saving Bank A/c, as account belongs to you.

Only that na?

Other than this nothing to worry ?

You asked about only tax implication on such transfer of amount.

if it is below 1 lakhs like there will be no problem.

i have observed on so many cases no one is disclosing their saving bank interset details in their bank account..

however it will not be a big problem but you can ask your employer to open one sb in his name and you can use that atm for money needs if he accept-so that every thing goes right
