About ca final may 2013 results

Practice manual is the best book for isca in addition to one reference book. Go through study material also if u have time.

Always try to give answers in points and answers should be to the point.

Got 63 in isca by reading study material and Practice manual.

I suggest u to refer Prof. Jignesh Chheda's Book which is exhaustive and covers everything, u dont even need to study practice manaual also.

@ jaicky......I have done self-study & cleared Group 2 of Final this time & scored 56 in ISCA using Devang Dalal..even Manish Valecha too is a very good book as suggested by @ neerajkumar..suggestions have been given..now make ur own choice...

Would feel obliged if u guys would suggest me the books u referred for Group 1,since i m yet to attempt Group 1 & would suffice with self- study  this time around as well........>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Ya Please refer institutes practice manual. It will help u alot.

I refered to prof jignesh chheda's book. Got 61 although i expected above 75. personally i dont really think choce of book really make a difference. just study isca everyday for 3 hrs from whichever book ur comfortable . makes a hell lot of difference. 

All the best, you'll do well. sometimes luck plays a big role. I got 405 in my nov 12 attempt but 34 in costing.so had to give my 2nd group again. so i can understand how you feel. Cleared in May 13 :D

Dinesh madan book already done.

have a good reading of Practice manual and compiler and 2 RTP.
 

And one reading of study module is enough to know about the concept so that you won't face the hurdle of new things.

And  Please remember one thing :-

without proper revision no matter how many books you read, you'll again find yourself trapped at D-day.

So do little but do it perfectly. I have done this mistake many times and won't repeat it now.

Thanx everybody for ur suggestions. I want to let u knw that I did pract manual too. But as per my analysis, prat man has covered only 60-70 questions which are asked in may 13. N dinesh madan has covered only 60 mks unlike other books which have covered everything. @ Akila-Thanx for suggestion. I did ISCA from dinesh madan thrice till feb. Then daily 2.5 hrs till April. then too u can see my marks because of referring wrong book

Even I am in the same state as you are though the group is different below is my result I got in 54 marks in ISCA just by reading PM + 2 RTPs (May 2013 & Nov 2012) along with ICAI Mock test paper series for May 2013 & Nov 2012.
