About me

I have become the member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on 16^th Jan. ’08. I have started practicing as Chartered Accountants since March 2008.

Before completing my chartered accountancy, I had worked with two UK based Accounting BPO Co. at Chandigarh. I have worked as a as Accounting Manager with Just Financial Outsourcing (P) Ltd from Dec. 2005 to Feb. 2008. I have a very good experience to work with UK Accounting firms and deals in all area like Accounting, Personal Tax, Corporate Tax and Co. Law matters.

Now I am doing practice with firm name "Tilak Varun & Associates" having office at Solan (H.P.) and Chandigarh. We are three partners. We are dealing all area of Indian Accounting and Taxation. I personally still provide advise on UK personal tax matters and prepare the returns.

Income tax is my favourite area of practice.

In late November 2006, I opened a Private Limited Company with initial capital of Rs. 1 lakh, registered it with R.O.C. N. Delhi for manufacturing, trading purposes etc etc and also managed to get the import export license but failed to start anything due to some personal reasons. I am now looking to sell this newly formed company as I have no desire to start any business anymore. For your information, I have already filed taxes to-date and done whatever I had to do with it in the legal way. Now it is available for sale/transfer to new share holders. If in your daily business practice, you find that someone may be interested in taking it over a company and pay me whatever expenses I have incurred to form it, I would consider it. Could you please tell me the rate of stamp duty on a non-transferable, non-convertible debenture in mumbai? The bombay stamp act only talks about transferable debentures!
