Suppose Mr. X-HUF is an owner(100%) of a residential house. Now he sells it, capital gain arises of Rs. 12 Lakhs. He wants to invest the capital gain amount(12Lakhs) in other residential house property as co-owner with his son(30%), Daughter in law(30%) and himself(25%) as individual, remaining 15% is of HUF. Question - Can HUF claim Deduction u/s. 54?
