: Salary taxability
Dear Sir, Need to discuss with you for the taxability of Salary. A person joined the new organisation of 15th March 2007. Due to joining procedures, his salary for March got processed alongwith April 2007 salary. For taxability purpose, whether the salary of Macrh 2007 (17 days salary) will be taxable or not? He does not have taxable income in year 2006-07. If no, then please give reference for the same. Thanks and regards Ankur Jain -

: Definition of salary/wages under Payment of Bonus
Sir, I am requesting you to give me definition with interpretation supported by any case law. Further whether salary of a particular person is more than Rs.10,000/- but due to absent he got salary/wages let in 8 months less than Rs.10,000/- will he eligible for bonus? Regards, Nagendra -
