Sir, Whether Investor nominee Director to be appointed first as an additional Director or directly as a Director? In one of my client company nominee Director has been appointed as an additional director by the Board and now they want to regularise the investor nominee director in an ensuing Annual General Meeting. Now whether pursuant to section 257 of the Act, member need to deposit money proposing the candidature of nominee Director or what would be the best procedure to regularise the nominee Director in an Annual General Meeting?
