without permission of ICAI you can not make transfer, in first year you are only free from any reason. it does not means u are exempted from ICAI to take aaproval for such transfer.

Sir, I received my Articleship confirmation letter from Chennai. But I didn't get the ID card. As u suggested, I also sent a query. But no reply. Can u tell me if the ID card is needed for writing CA final exams or for any other purpose. Please reply. Regards, Bina Babu Thomas
