Can anyone please help / confirm the duty notification for exemption of Excise Duty otherwise leviable, for supplies to Nuclear Power Plants? There are some exemption available for "thermal" or "hydel", but I could not find anything specifically for "nuclear" power plant. One of the notification is 12/ 2012-CE but it does not specify for "nuclear" power plant. The removable goods from factory fall under Tariff Heading 9032. We have a PAC (certificate) from the said power plant in TN, but it has no mention of exemption notification for Excise Duty, though it has a mention of the Customs notification. The other way of looking at it could be as "deemed exports". If so, the question will still remain... what would be the excise notification?? Solicit inputs, assistance & guidance on the matter. Dear Mr. Arun, I have two excisable manufacturing units under the same firm at Noida, UP. I wish to transfer raw material stock, for certain goods, from unit 1 to unit 2, as I have shifted manufacturing facility for these goods to unit 2. Can I transfer raw material for without any value addition between units which have the same ownership firm? Regards Adhar
