Sir, Kindly refer to your answer with reference to the query dated 23/10/2008. whether TDS to be deducted on reimbursement on gross amt . or only on services in case of C & f agents. I would like you to refer to the circular 715 dated 08/08/1995. where it has been clarified that that TDS has to be deducted on gross amt. Please clarify the same thank u. -

Just to share, there is a supreme court judgement in 2004 where vat is applicable case was betwwen mohd ekram khan & sons & sales tax dept. Since then it was payable retrospective 1998 -
