: query regarding STCG on shares
I need clarification regarding rate of Capital gain tax on STCG through Share trading.If total income is within 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs including STCG,the rate of Tax will be @10% on rest income above 2 lakhs or STCS @15% and rest @10%.E.g- Net income 2.5 lakhs & STCG is rs.50000.What is the net tax payable?Kindly help me out as I am getting different views. -
