Once again, the nation has experienced a surge of emotions. Some celebrate their victories with tears of joy, while others quietly brush away tears of disappointment. Heartfelt congratulations to all the talented achievers who successfully passed these prestigious exams - you've turned sleepless nights into remarkable success. However, today's article extends beyond celebration-it's for the silent majority who, despite their efforts, didn't see their name on the list this time.

Picture abhi baaki hai, Mere Dost: Lessons beyond the CA Sept 2025 Exam Results - Part 1

Dear friends, take a moment to pause and hold onto hope. Failure is not the opposite of success; it is a part of it. Remember, the CA Examination is not just an ordinary test - it is often considered the second toughest exam in India after the Civil Services. It demands not only intelligence but also discipline, emotional resilience, and sustained effort under pressure. Many of you have put in a lot of effort - perhaps even more than those who succeeded - but the results may not have reflected your efforts.

The core truth about all major successes is that hard work alone isn't enough. Achieving your goals requires a systematic, organized study plan that is methodical and well-structured. Studying twelve hours a day won't be effective if you're not focusing on the right topics, following the proper order, and staying motivated. Without these key components, your efforts may not reveal your full potential.

CA Raj Jaggi is a highly skilled and compassionate professional who wants to share an important message with his younger colleagues. He has successfully completed the Chartered Accountancy exams, as well as Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA), Company Secretaryship (ICSI), and holds a Postgraduate degree in Commerce and a rare B.Ed. qualification. With nearly thirty years of experience, he has dedicated himself to teaching students and writing respected books on Service Tax and GST, mainly for Chartered Accountants. His contributions also include reviewing parts of the ICAI's Indirect Tax Study Material, showcasing his high academic and professional standing.

Scene 1: A Lesson from blockbuster Hindi Movie "12th Fail" - Failure Is Only the Interval

As the office screens display the scrolling headline "ICAI CA Results Declared - Pass Percentage: ____ % (Intermediate), ____ % (Final)", a heavy silence fills the room. Faces drop, coffee cups stop mid-air, and even the ceiling fan seems to slow down in sympathy. The atmosphere is filled with mixed emotions - some students might be crying with joy somewhere, while many others, including a few from CA, Raj Jaggi's own article assistants and paid assistants, could be staring blankly at their result screen, feeling the weight of dreams deferred.

But just as the mood begins to dip, CA Raj Jaggi, always calm, composed, and witty, breaks the silence with his trademark smile. He looks around and says -"अरेभाई, फेलहोनेकीबातआईतोयादआया - फिल्म '12th Fail' काहीरोभीतोफेलहुआथा! लेकिनउसनेबादमें IAS बनकरदिखाया. तोफेलहोनाकोईअन्तनहींहै - यहतोबसएकइंटरवलहै. पिक्चरअभीबाकीहै, मेरेदोस्त!"("Arre bhai, talking of failure reminds me - the hero of the film '12th Fail' also failed once! But later he became an IAS officer. So failure is not an end, it's just an interval. The picture is still unfinished, my friend!")

Everyone looks up, half-surprised, half-curious. CA Amit smiles faintly, "Sir, that movie was something else - such an emotional roller coaster!"

CA Raj Jaggi nods and says, "Exactly, Amit! Consider Manoj Kumar Sharma, a boy from Chambal who failed Class 12 but didn't give up. This film is based on his true story. 'उसकेपासनपैसेथे, नकोचिंगथी, नकोईसहारा…बसएकचीज़थी - जज़्बाऔरईमानदारी।'('He had no money, no coaching, no support… only passion and honesty.') Recall how he studied under streetlights, sold books to survive, and still had the courage to start over? That captures the essence of 'Try, try, till you fly!'",

CA Pooja adds emotionally,"सर, सबसेप्रेरणादायकपलतोतबथाजबउसनेअपनीमाँसेकहा - 'मैंफेलनहींहुआ, बसतैयारीपूरीनहींथी।'"("Sir, the most inspiring moment was when he told his mother, 'I haven't failed; my preparation just wasn't complete yet.'")

CA Raj Jaggi smiles warmly, "Yes, Pooja! That one line should be every CA student's mantra.'मैंफेलनहींहुआ, बसतैयारीपूरीनहींथी।'('I have not failed; only my preparation wasn't complete.')That's the spirit every student must have! When you don't clear, don't say you've failed - say your preparation wasn't yet complete. Just like Manoj Sharma didn't let one exam define his destiny, you too must not let one attempt define your worth.'उसनेअपनीहारकोईंधनबनादिया - औरयहीअसलीजीतहै।'('He turned his defeat into fuel - and that's the true victory.')"

He continues in a calm, motivational tone,"देखो, वोफिल्मकिसीएकव्यक्तिकीकहानीनहींथी; वोतोहरउसविद्यार्थीकीकहानीथीजोबार-बारगिरकरभीउठताहै।"("You see, that film wasn't the story of one person; it was the story of every student who keeps rising after falling again and again.")"औरयहीकहानीतोहर CA छात्रकीभीहै - लंबीरातें, डर, उम्मीदें, औररिजल्टसेपहलेकीवोचुपप्रार्थना - सबकुछवैसाहीहै।"("And isn't that the story of every CA student too - the long nights, the anxiety, the hopes, and that silent prayer before the result?")"The only difference is: some stop, and some restart. And those who restart, वोजीतजातेहैं। (they win!)"

The room, which had turned quiet a few minutes ago, now fills with renewed energy. Even the fan seems to pick up speed again. Smiles return. The eyes that looked dull a while ago now glimmer with hope.

CA Raj Jaggi ends the thought with a laugh and says,"तोदोस्तों, यादरखो - चाहेतुम 12th फेलहो, CA फेलहो, यासौबारफेलहो - असलीफेलवहीहैजोकोशिशछोड़दे!"("So friends, remember - whether you fail in Class 12, in CA, or even a hundred times - the only real failure is the one who stops trying!")"क्योंकिअगलाप्रयासहीतुम्हारीब्लॉकबस्टरसफलताहोसकताहै!"("Because your next attempt might just be your blockbuster success!")

Laughter fills the room, and in that laughter hides a powerful message - that every setback is just a setup for a stronger comeback.

Scene 2 - "Health First, Marks Later"

As the atmosphere in the office slowly brightens, CA Amit, still looking at the scrolling results on his laptop, sighs softly, "Sir, these students study day and night - still, most of them can't clear. Kismat bhi koi cheez hoti hai na…"

CA Raj Jaggi :Beta, luck favours those who combine consistent habits with effort! The issue isn't solely about working hard; more often, it's the absence of an effective system guiding that effort. Students frequently study late into the night, but they usually forget that the brain is like a muscle - it performs best when the body is well-rested and healthy.

CA Pooja nods thoughtfully, "Sir, you mean physical health actually affects exam performance?"

Certainly! CA Raj Jaggi, adjusting his spectacles, explains in a calm manner, "The mind cannot shine if the body is dull. Even small health problems-such as colds, toothaches, or lack of sleep-can hinder your study plans. Maintaining good health is essential for keeping your memory sharp. That's why every CA aspirant should spend at least 30 minutes on a light morning walk and 20 minutes practicing yoga daily. These 50 minutes can significantly impact your day by increasing blood circulation, improving focus, and fostering quiet confidence in your study routine.

CA Rohit, ever the gym enthusiast, interrupts, "Sir, I spend more than an hour lifting weights at the gym. Is that okay too?"

CA Raj Jaggi: I recall Amitabh Bachchan's quote from a movie - 'Those who show more power sometimes need more rest!' While intense workouts might seem impressive, they can tire the central nervous system and decrease mental stamina. Remember, you are not training for a bodybuilding competition but for a mental marathon! Therefore, opt for gentle exercises and yoga, which soothe the mind without overtaxing the body.

Then, with his signature half-smile, he remarks, "And yes - sleep is the most overlooked factor for exam success. Don't view it as optional! Set a fixed sleep schedule and stick to it, even happily. Remember, God designed the night for rest - not for cramming Ind AS 115!"

The room erupts in laughter. CA Pooja quips, "Sir, then what should be the ideal sleeping schedule?"

"Simple," replies CA Raj Jaggi, "Sleep like a disciplined student, not a confused owl. Six to Seven hours of consistent, calm sleep daily - at the same time - greatly outweighs alternative sleep schedules. ten hours of irregular rest. Sleep is not a waste of time; it's the factory reset of your brain. Neglect it, and your mind will start giving you error messages during exams!"

Amit, Rohit, and Pooja laugh again - but they also note every word carefully.

CA Raj Jaggi concludes with calm certainty, saying, "Remember, my friends, good health boosts mental energy. To succeed in CA exams, start not with books, but with breath. A healthy body is the first step toward success."

Scene 3 - "The Book That Knows the Examiner"

As the laughter from the "12th Fail" discussion gradually subsides, CA Rohit picks up his notebook and, with a smile, asks, "Sir, after focusing on health and positivity, what's the next step? Do you have a new mantra for those gearing up to start again tomorrow?"

CA Raj Jaggi smiles -That calm, confident smile that suggests a life lesson is about to follow. He adjusts his glasses and says, "Rohit, before I share a new mantra, let me reveal a simple - yet often overlooked - secret to success in CA exams: 'Read the book that understands the examiner - not just the one that guesses him!'"

Everyone looks puzzled for a moment. CA Amit asks curiously, "Sir, you mean the ICAI Study Material?"

"Exactly, Amit!" replies CA Raj Jaggi with conviction. "That book is not an ordinary This book serves as your Gita, Bible, and Quran for CA exams. The ICAI Study Material is created by expert faculty members of the Institute-individuals with decades of experience in teaching, research, and paper setting. Each chapter is thoroughly reviewed by renowned academicians before printing. Every example, note, and case study is carefully drafted, debated, refined, and validated. It's more than just a book-it's the collective wisdom of some of the top minds in the profession.

He pauses, his tone turning reflective.

Let me reiterate-I've had the privilege of reviewing specific chapters of the Indirect Taxation paper at both the Intermediate and Final levels. This allowed me to observe the process closely, examining it line by line and clause by clause. It is thorough, logical, and highly focused on exam preparation.

CA Pooja leans forward, "Sir, but most students rely on private notes or coaching material. They say it's shorter and easier to revise."

"Exactly!" says CA Raj Jaggi, raising his eyebrows with a half-smile. "That's where the tragedy starts. Many students completely ignore the ICAI Study Material, thinking it's too bulky, too theoretical, or too difficult. Instead, they depend solely on printed notes from private coaching centres - the so-called 'shortcut guides.' But these shortcuts often diminish your chances of success!

He chuckles and remarks, "I've often noticed in exam papers that ICAI copies questions or examples directly from its Study Material, sometimes verbatim or with minor changes in figures. A couple of years back, an example I created was used as-is in the CA Final Indirect Tax exam! Students then complain, 'Sir, we've never seen this question before!'" Of course, that's because they haven't read the Institute's book.

The room erupts in laughter again. CA Amit chuckles and says, "Sir, this should be displayed on every coaching centre's wall - 'Ignoring ICAI Study Material at Your Own Risk!'" CA Raj Jaggi nods approvingly and replies, "Exactly, Amit! That's the motto. ICAI Study Material isn't just a reference - it's the foundation. No matter how good your classes are, always consider that book your main resource. Study it diligently, with respect and focus. Highlight key examples, underline important words, and compare your notes with it. Building this disciplined habit can greatly impact your results." Then, with a tone that blends authority and warmth, he continues," 'बेटा, वोकिताबेंजोसंस्थानसेआतीहैं, उनमेंसिर्फ़ज्ञाननहींहोता - उनमेंअनुभव, निष्ठाऔरआशीर्वादभीहोताहै।' ("My dear students, the books from the Institute contain not only knowledge but also experience, sincerity, and blessings.")

"इसलिएअगरसफलताचाहिए, तोसबसेपहलेअपनेकोचिंगनोट्सनहीं, अपनेसंस्थानकीकिताबखोलो।"("So, if you truly want success, don't first open your coaching notes - open your Institute's own book.")

The team remains silent, listening thoughtfully. CA Rohit, normally full of jokes, softly says, "Sir, now I understand - we often pursue new notes, summaries, and test series, but we overlook the vast original ocean itself."

"Exactly!" exclaims CA Raj Jaggi with a proud smile. "Always remember - the question paper is set by the ICAI, not the coaching centre. Prepare with the same dedication and from the same source. Success will inevitably follow."

Closing of Part I - "Picture Abhi Baaki Hai, Mere Dost…"

As the office clock hits seven, the golden sunset filters through the blinds. The stress of result day has eased, replaced by a peaceful silence-similar to after deep reflection. CA Amit, CA Rohit, and CA Pooja sit quietly, each immersed in their thoughts. Some students have succeeded, others have not-but in that room, something more significant than a result has occurred: a shift in perspective.

Breaking the silence, CA Raj Jaggi rises, straightens his tie, and in his characteristic calm yet authoritative voice, he states: "My dear friends, keep in mind a key truth - success doesn't disappear; it simply takes a bit more time to reach those who steadily pursue it. A delay in results might postpone your dream, but it can never erase it. Do not define your worth by a single exam; instead, judge it by your ability to stand up each time life tests you."

He pauses for a moment, then adds softly:"ज़िन्दगीमेंहारनाग़लतनहींहै, हारमानलेनाग़लतहै।"("In life, it's not wrong to fail - it's wrong to give up.")

He walks to the window, gazes at the setting sun, and continues,"Every student who hasn't cleared this exam must remember - you haven't failed; you've just been given a bit more time to prepare perfectly. Failure isn't a punishment from life; it's God's way of saying, 'You can do even better.' Each setback is just a revision - not of your notes, but of your inner strength."

The team listens quietly - not out of formality, but out of respect. Then CA Pooja, always thoughtful, softly says, "Sir, today's talk felt less like a discussion and more like a therapy session. It must reach every student who's feeling broken today."

CA Raj Jaggi smiles kindly, "Yes, Pooja - that's exactly why we talk. Because every CA student needs to know that even after the toughest night, the morning still arrives. The students who couldn't clear must remember: The Institute has not rejected you - it has just redirected you. Redirected you towards better planning, deeper understanding, and stronger self-belief." Then he looks at all three and adds, "And this is just Part I of our journey. The next part will delve even deeper - I'll share how to prepare systematically, how to build concentration, how to create a physically and mentally conducive study environment, and how to apply the proven 3R Formula: Read, Revise, Recall. These are the key ingredients that turn a sincere attempt into a successful one."

He raises his hand like a teacher closing a memorable class and says,"बेटा, जबतककोशिशेंज़िंदाहैं, तबतकउम्मीदभीज़िंदाहै।"("My dear students, as long as efforts are alive, hope is alive too.")

As the scene closes, the office fills with a quiet warmth - the kind that comes not from air-conditioners, but from renewed motivation. Someone's mobile softly plays an old tune from the evergreen Hindi Movie Guide (1965):

"Aaj phir jeene ki tamanna hai, aaj phir marne ka iraada hai…"("Today, I feel like living once again; today, I feel ready to face life again.")

CA Raj Jaggi turns, smiles, and says,

Beautiful song… That's the spirit every student should adopt today. Let go of what went wrong and get ready for what's about to go right. Remember, the movie of your life, my friends, is still playing…

Picture abhi baaki hai, mere dost."
