To start your career you are required to go through a hiring process in which there are multiple rounds.Firstly there will be an elimination round which may be through a written test or a Group Discussion (GD). You have to first crack this stage only then you can go ahead for further rounds which makes it very important to know the tricks how to crack GD. You can't take it lightly.

Today I was rejected in 4 GDs in Campus. But the important step which I took thereafter was that I went to HR of the company and asked them where I was lacking and got some important tips which were missing according to them, which I would like to discuss with you in a very precise manner and hope it will also be beneficial for you:-

1- Don't take initiative if you do not have expert knowledge about that topic.

2- Don't make fish market there. Speak little but it must be value adding.

3- Find out a word which is different from others and it must be effective.

4- Try not to go with the flow. If everyone is going in favour of the topic then try to go against it.

5- If the group is going beyond the topic then tell them to please concentrate on the topic.

6- In the last few minutes don't try to start a new topic.

7-There may be three kinds of topics:

(a)abstract

(b)Technical

(c)General.

8- In case of an abstract topic you should cover a vast range of points like its character, origin, merits, demerits, effects and so on. If you don't know anything then listen everyone and then give conclusion.

9- In case of a Technical topic you should apply your knowledge. Knowledge is preferable in this kind of topic.

10-In case of General Topics they don't judge your technical competency but they judge how you manage yourself and how you give them a good advice upon it, what can be more innovative in that area.

11- If you know company's work related to that topic then it will definitely be the key to your success.

12- Write the bullets instead of paragraphs and try to write in good hand writing because sometimes HR might ask you to show your notes to check your handwriting.

13- You can use idioms, Phrases, short statements, statistics, jokes.

14- About language- Avoid fillers in hindi, don't make grammatical mistakes e.g don't use " yaa" only use yes
