Form 26AS is an annual consolidated tax statement generated by the Income Tax Department, showing taxes deducted at source (TDS) and taxes paid during the financial year.
The amended Form 26AS, now called the Annual Information Statement, includes details of Specified Financial Transactions (SFTs) like share or property purchases, alongside TDS and TCS information.
Information relating to GST returns will now be uploaded and reflected in the new Form 26AS, providing details of your GST turnover.
