UIDAI is going to introduce a new mobile application called "e-Aadhaar" by December 2025 that will allow users to update several Aadhaar-related details from home
This application will be available for both Android and iPhone users.
With this app users will be allowed to update Aadhaar details from home such as mobile number, date of birth, and address without visiting an Aadhaar center.

New Technology and Data Integration
The app will utilize AI and face recognition technology to facilitate data updates and to make the process easier and faster.
The E-Aadhaar app is currently under development and is expected to be launched by the end of 2025.
Date of Birth Update Mechanism
For DOB updates in Aadhaar, it is expected that the system will automatically fetch the date from other official documents.
Acceptable documents include PAN card, passport, driving license, birth certificate, or ration card.
It is mandatory to ensure the correct DOB is updated across all these documents, as any mismatch could lead to issues during Aadhaar updates.
PAN-Aadhaar Linking Deadline
It is mandatory to link your PAN with your Aadhaar card by 31st December 2025.
If PAN cards not linked, from 1st January it will be rendered inactive.
Updated Fee Structure for Aadhaar Services
UIDAI has updated the fee structure for various Aadhaar update and related services.
