Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Third Amendment Rules, 2019 have been notified w.e.f 25th July 2019
E-FORM DIR-3 KYC applicable in two cases:
Case 1: Where the individual who holds DIN and is filing his KYC details for the first time
Case 2: Where the individual DIN holder who has already filed his KYC once in eform DIR-3 KYC but wants to update his details.
WEB SERVICE DIR-3-KYC-WEB is applicable only to those DIN holder who has submitted DIR-3 KYC eform in the previous financial year and no update is required in his details.
Steps for processing:
- Login on the website.
- Go to MCA services and then click on DIR-3-KYC-WEB
- Fill-in in the DIN Number of the concern Director
- Prefilled data (Email ID and Phone Number) will be shown on the portal
- Click on send OTP and Verify the same
DIR-3-KYC-WEB is now available on the MCA portal at link below link:

FEE FOR FILING DIR-3 KYC/DIR-3 KYC-WEB
The fee for filing e-form DIR-3 KYC or web-form DIR-3 KYC-WEB through the web service, shall be payable as follows:
| Fee Filing of e-form DIR-3 KYC or DIR-3 KYC web service on or before 30th September, 2019 | NIL |
| Fee for delayed cases | Rs. 5,000/- |
| Fee payable if the individual failed to file e-form DIR-3 KYC or DIR-3 KYC-WEB for the previous financial year (in delayed case) | Rs. 5,000/- |
