Section 177 of the Companies Act,2013 and Rule 6 and 7 of Companies (Meetings of Board andits Powers) Rules,2014 deals with the Audit Committee. Applicability of Audit Committee: The Board of directors of every listed companies and the following classes of companies, asprescribed under Rule 6 of Companies (Meetings of Board and its powers) Rules,2014 shall constitute an AuditCommittee.
