This article addresses the age-old question - Is clearing CA difficult? Is CA tough? Is it very hard to study for CA? and what not…

I often hear this question from new CA aspirants who are just about to start their CA journey. I feel like such questions have created a mental mindset in the CA and Non-CA (those who give-up eventually after listening this) aspirants and got them stuck in thinking that CA is really touch / difficult course. Sometimes, I feel sorry for such people.

I will give my own example here: I started my journey after my graduation in B.Com through the direct entry and was also encircled with the above questions by my relatives, parents, friends and office colleagues as they used to constantly say CA is tough.

I will not say that CA is easy, but creating a mindset and thinking that CA is tough won't get you anywhere and you will be stuck in that loop for many years. This will eventually affect your performance in studies. You don't know that anything is tough unless and until you try it by yourself. So do not assume anything without experiencing it.

Age Old Question: Is CA Course Difficult

How did I overcome it?

  • Firstly, stop thinking that CA is tough.
  • Develop a positive attitude towards life
  • Take one step at a time and concentrate on your studies rather than what other say
  • Try to stay in the positive circle and connect with like-minded people
  • Divert your mind by doing some; Yoga / Meditation / Exercise / play with Pets / Any other activity which you like
  • Never take any negative comments personally and ponder upon it, try to move on
  • Don't let failure get the better of you, learn from your failures and try again with more effort
  • Don't sway away from your goal

Importance of Self-Motivation

Self-motivation is the ability to drive oneself to take initiative and action to pursue goals and complete tasks. It's an inner drive to take action — to create and to achieve. It's what pushes you to keep going on tasks, especially those you're pursuing because you want to, not because someone told you to.

Motivation plays a very key role in CA course. However, many of our most precious goals don't happen quickly. It takes hard work, persistence, and discipline to change your life. When results don't come as quickly as you expect, or when nothing goes right, it's natural to feel frustrated and have difficulty staying motivated.

Motivation is simply the force driving your behavior. It's the "why" behind everything you do, and the reason you might take up a cause, commit to an action, or work toward a goal. Everything we do is motivated by some combination of conscious and unconscious need or desire. Its important to find the "why" and it varies person to person.

Change isn't easy for anyone. Finding self-motivation requires long-term commitment, courage, and perseverance. But that doesn't mean it's impossible. It simply means you have to find ways to give yourself a boost when you need it, and avoid giving up when you hit a dip.

Remember that changing your life for the better doesn't happen overnight. When you set out to achieve a big goal, expect to progress in small steps.

When you feel a dip in self-motivation, remember all the concrete actions you can take to avoid crashing and giving up too soon. Turn to your friends, get guidance from wise people in your circle, practice self-care, and stay positive.

Celebrate your successes every step of the way because pursuing a big dream isn't easy, but you are worth it.

Now after all the above points if you still think CA is difficult then read below and try to figure out yourself:
I was a gaming addict (used to play DOTA and CS) during my college days till B.com and still became a CA. So, don't let anything hold you off from doing the right thing.

Hope this article will clear the misconception from the minds of new aspirants and aid in achieving their dreams and goals
