She became president and CEO of PNC Capital Markets LLC in July 2002 after joining PNC's Corporate Banking business as a senior vice president and managing director in July 1996. McLaughlin received a BA in 1975 from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981. Since her arrival, the company has done well, as her strategic thinking has certainly brought a lot to the company, making her the company's powerhouse.
