Tarun Bajaj, the current Revenue Secretary, has been appointed to an additional role as Secretary for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. This appointment, approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, is effective immediately and will continue until a permanent secretary is appointed or further notice is given. Mr. Bajaj has served as Revenue Secretary since April 2021 and previously held the additional charge of Economic Affairs Secretary.
