More than 60,000 claims from MSME vendors have been finalised under the Vivad se Vishwas I Scheme.
The scheme was launched to provide relief to MSMEs in the post-Corona period by refunding 95% of deducted performance security, bid security, and liquidated damages for government contracts entered into during the COVID-19 period.
The government has revised MSME definitions, launched the Udyam Registration Portal, included retail and wholesale traders as MSMEs, extended non-tax benefits, and launched initiatives like the Self Reliant India Fund and the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.
The MSME-SAMBANDH Portal actively monitors procurement by Central Government Ministries, Departments, and Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) to ensure compliance with the public procurement policy for MSMEs.
The Special Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (SCLCSS) under the National SC-ST Hub Scheme helps aspiring SC/ST entrepreneurs set up new enterprises and build their capacity for public procurement.
