FAQ :
New guidelines have been issued for CAT case hearings, differentiating procedures based on whether the Benches are located in Green, Orange, or Red Zones.
Benches in Green Zones will function normally, adhering to MHA guidelines for social distancing, sanitation, and avoiding direct contact. The local Head of Department will decide on operational methods in consultation with the Bar Association.
Urgent cases in Red and Orange Zones can be filed electronically via email after contacting the Registrar of the concerned Bench for the email address.
If a case filed electronically is deemed urgent by the Head of Department, it may be heard through CISCO WEBEX online video conferencing.
These arrangements will be in force until 17.05.2020 or until further orders are issued.
