The State Finance Ministers thanked the Union Finance Minister for financial support during the pandemic, including enhanced borrowing limits, back-to-back loans, and special assistance for capital expenditure.
The purpose of the meeting was to hold pre-budget consultations with the Finance Ministers of States and Union Territories for the Union Budget 2022-23.
The participants gave numerous suggestions for inclusion in the Budget Speech and thanked the Finance Minister for her inputs.
