The new deadline for filing ESI contributions for April 2021 has been extended to 15th June 2021.
The deadline has been extended as a relief measure due to the challenging situation caused by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has affected many establishments and workers.
This extension provides an extended window for the 12.36 lakh employers covered under the ESI Scheme to pay their contributions.
The original deadline for filing ESI contributions for April 2021 was 15th May 2021.
